The roster is the foundation

Everything in a society reads from the member list: who gets the email, who is in the draw, whose handicap moved. Kept as a file, it splits into versions and grows duplicates that quietly break results later.

In Parful the roster is one record: members, contact details, handicaps, status and dues in one place, imported from your association’s standard member export if you have one, with likely duplicates flagged before they split someone’s scoring history. A change made once carries into groups, scoring and standings.

Outings and sign-ups

The weekly question is always the same: who is in on Saturday? Chasing it through a chat thread works until it doesn’t, usually the week someone gets missed.

Open registration on an outing and members sign up from their phones, with capacity, waitlists and guests handled. A recurring fixture starts by duplicating the last one rather than rebuilding it.

Groups, tees and the draw

Groups generate from the entry list, and you fix by hand the things software cannot know, like who travels together. Each player gets a tee, and playing handicaps adjust to the tee, so mixed-tee groups score fairly without a conversion table.

Scoring and results

One scorer per group enters scores in the phone browser through a QR code, PIN or link. No app, no accounts. Gross, net and Stableford resolve from the same card, side games like skins and Nassau settle alongside, and the boards move while the groups are still out.

When the last card is in, close out the outing once: prizes resolve, standings move, statistics record, handicaps revise, and the results page goes public while everyone is still at the bar.

The season takes care of itself

Season standings build from finalized results, with divisions and configurable points, and a drill-down for every player. Competitions run off the same scores, including match play knockouts with public brackets. The society’s public page carries the schedule, results and standings, so "where do I check" has one answer.

The money, honestly handled

Parful tracks dues and renewals, meaning who has paid, who has not, and who is about to lapse. It does not collect dues: take payment the way your society already does and keep the status in the roster. Outing entries and merchandise can sell through the club store with card checkout; the store and financials areas are in beta.

What it costs

Societies with up to 8 active members run free, with no card and no time limit. Bigger societies start with a 30-day full-access trial and then pay an annual fee based on active member count, with every tier on the full product.
