Parful Clubs
Run a golf league that scores itself every week
A golf league is the most repetitive job in golf: the same night, the same course, the same table to update before anyone asks. Parful Clubs is built for a group that plays together on a schedule, and a league is that schedule at its most regular.
For the organizer of a twenty-week Wednesday league with two divisions and a table to update on Thursday morning, the company league where departments field two-player teams, and the 9-hole twilight league that needs a result before dark.
A twenty-week league, two divisions, 9 holes
Twenty-four players, Wednesday evenings from May to September, a points table per division and a round robin for the A division. Each step is one the product runs today.
- Before the first night
- Add twenty-four players with their indexes, create an A and a B division as sections, and build twenty 9-hole outings by duplicating the first. One points standing per division, best fourteen nights counted; one round robin for the A division.
- Each Wednesday
- Registration closes at noon, groups are generated at three, the A division’s matches are assigned to the night so they resolve from the cards, and a Nassau runs in half the groups.
- Close-out from the bar
- Prizes resolve, both division tables move, the round robin standings update and the results page is live before the last group has paid for its drinks.
- Week twelve, team night
- A four-ball better ball competition on the outing. Pairs race on the leaderboard; no individual side games, because the card belongs to the pair.
- After week twenty
- Print the season standings, the prize list and the attendance register. The standing names both division winners; the round robin table names the match play champion.
Roster, divisions, schedule and points
Add the players by hand or from your association’s standard member export, with likely duplicates flagged. A league with no official handicaps is the normal case: Parful calculates and revises handicaps from the league rounds, and playing handicaps come from the course’s tees and slope. Sync with a handicap service exists for linked clubs where supported, and it is optional.
Divisions are sections of the roster, and each runs its own standings table; players from different divisions can still share a group on the night. One outing per league night, 9 or 18 holes, and the scorer, the leaderboard and Stableford follow the hole count. Duplicate one night to make the next.
- Points set once on the standing: placement, field-size adjusted, participation, hybrid or manual; all nights or a player’s best nights; ranked on net, gross or Stableford
- Weekly registration from phones if you want it, with capacity and waitlists
- Messages to the whole league or one division, sent now or scheduled for Wednesday morning

Wednesday night: score from the cart, watch the table move
One scorer per group enters scores in the phone browser from a QR code, PIN or link. No app, no account. Gross, net and Stableford resolve from the same card, the live leaderboard follows the round, and the clubhouse television carries the board from the outing’s display link.
League nights are where side games live. Any signed-in member starts one from the outing page: skins, a Nassau, Wolf, Vegas, Snake, Dots and thirty more, counted gross, net or Stableford. A wager is optional and starts only once every affected player has accepted the terms, with a maximum-loss cap. Results come from the official card and freeze at close-out.
- A team-of-two night is a four-ball, foursomes, greensomes or Chapman competition assigned to the outing; the pairs race on the leaderboard as a team
- On a team card the strokes belong to the pair, so games that read individual strokes are refused that night
- Group scorecards and a player list print from the Report Center for the nights the phones stay in the bag

The table: close out once and it is right
Closing out the outing resolves the night’s prizes, moves every standing it counts toward, records statistics, revises handicaps and publishes the results page. Nothing is typed into the table. Standings build from finalized outings only, so a night that was never closed out moves nothing, and the club home says so until someone finishes it.
A match-play ladder is a competition, not a spreadsheet: a round robin where everyone plays everyone and every result updates a table, or group play with a table per group and a knockout the committee generates from the qualifiers. A match assigned to a league night resolves from the cards; one played on another evening is entered as a result. Walkovers and concessions are handled, and the public pages show who plays whom next.
- There is no separate ladder object. A points standing ranks players from their outing scores, never from match results, so a match-play league is a competition
- Season standings, prize list, season summary and attendance register print from the Report Center
- The winter league starts the way the summer one did: duplicate a night, change the date

Worth knowing before the first Wednesday
- Up to 8 active members is free with no card and no time limit. Bigger leagues start on a 30-day full-access trial, then pay by active member count; every tier is the full product.
- League fees are tracked in the roster as dues, with reminders, and never collected. Entry fees for a night can be paid through the club store, which is in beta.
- Team cups (two teams across sessions with a cup board) are enabled club by club during beta, and are a different thing from a league table.
- Inter-league matches against another league are not part of the product. A one-night company outing with no next week is Parful Events.
