Every competition your club runs, off the same scorecards

A real club season is several competitions running at once: Saturday’s medal, the summer knockout, the season points race, maybe a team cup in September. The traditional cost is that every one of them is a separate spreadsheet fed by the same rounds, reconciled by the same volunteer. Parful’s competition system is built around the fact that they all come from the same golf.

One round, every result it counts toward

A player scores once. That card resolves the day’s gross, net and Stableford prizes, the knockout match they happened to be playing in the same round, and their position in the season race, with no second entry anywhere. Re-entry is where club results traditionally go wrong, and it simply is not part of the model.

What you can run

Day competitions with gross, net and Stableford prizes. Singles and doubles match play with single and double elimination brackets, round robin pools and flights, walkovers and concessions handled; the match play page walks that machinery in detail. Season-long races built from finalized results, with divisions. Team cup weekends, with sessions and a live cup board, are rolling out club by club during beta.

Rules are set on the competition, not argued at the turn

Handicap allowances and the tiebreak policy are configured per competition, decided once when it is created. Round deadlines can be set to keep a knockout moving, and they are visible reminders on the rounds panel rather than automatic forfeits: the software nags, the committee decides.

Members can see where everything stands

Every competition has a public page: brackets with the draw and results, standings with the race, all opening in a phone browser with no login and no app. Printable bracket posters with QR codes cover the clubhouse notice board.

Can several competitions score off the same outing?

Yes, and that is the core of the design: one card resolves every competition it counts toward, plus side games running alongside.

Who sets the allowances and tiebreaks?

You do, per competition, when you create it. They are applied consistently from then on.

Do round deadlines forfeit matches automatically?

No. Deadlines are visible reminders on the competition’s rounds; results and walkovers stay committee decisions.

Can we run a team cup weekend?

Team cups with sessions and a live cup board are rolling out club by club during beta. Ask support to switch them on for yours.
