A live leaderboard everyone at the event can watch

The leaderboard is the part of a golf event that everyone who is not playing actually experiences: the spouse following from home, the sponsor at the clubhouse, the players at the turn checking where they stand. This page explains where the live scores come from and everywhere they go.

Where the scores come from

Groups score from their phones during the round through a link, QR code or PIN, in the browser, with no app download. Each posted hole updates the leaderboard. Paper scorecards entered at the card desk after the round join the same board, so the leaderboard is complete even when half the field scored with a pencil.

What spectators see

The public event page carries the schedule before play, live results during the round and final results afterward. Anyone with the link can watch: no account, no install. The presentation follows the format, with team standings for a scramble, gross and net boards for stroke play and Stableford, and brackets for match play stages.

The clubhouse TV

A display board built for the big screen shows the leaderboard with sponsor recognition and the running total raised, so the room watching dinner service is also watching the event’s sponsors and its cause.

For the organizer

The scoring view shows the state of the field: which groups are posting, which are still out, and which contests have settled. When play ends, results finalize once and the public page keeps the final leaderboard up afterward.
